This Sunday (November 8th, 4-6pm), James Turrell will be opening a new exhibition with Kayne Griffin Corcoran in Los Angeles, his fifth showing with the gallery. The works slated to be on display from the master of light and space include three large scale Elliptical Glass pieces, mesmerizing apertures of frosted glass that have LEDs behind that are programmed to cycle through different colors over the course of 2.5 hours, and a series of prints that document his installation Aten Reign at the Guggenheim back in 2013.
