We’re glad to inform you that some three months after their initial introduction and launch, the solidARTy.org project is still going strong. Created as an online auction website that raises funds for refugee help around Eastern Europe, they are currently having a whole new series of auctions going on. Following on the successfully selling works by the Miaz Brothers, Ernest Zacharevic, Escif, Sandra Chevrier, Rustam Qbic, Isaac Cordal, and more, the newly listed works include originals by Candice Trip, Laura Keeble, NY-based painter Christion Rex van Minnen, Eben Haines from Boston, street artist Know Hope from Israel, Portuguese environmentalist Bordalo II (seen above), Argentinian muralist Franco Fasoli, as well as rare or sold out editions by such well known names as Vhils, Miss Van, Okuda, Martin Whatson, Levalet, etc. With 100% of the proceeds being forwarded to charity efforts, the funds raised so far were used to buy food and shoes for the refugees, distribute donations along the Balkan refugee route, finance the voyage of a Syrian family from Athens to Croatia, and buy necessities as New Year’s presents for refugee kids. That said, please take a look at the artwork being auctioned at solidARTy.org and feel free to place your bids.
