AM recently attended the opening of Nick Walker’s (interviewed) exhibition at the Quin Hotel in Midtown New York City. Marking the kick off of the first ever artist in residence for the hotel, the famed UK artist pulled out some great stencil compositions to deck out his paintings. We noticed a few NYC specific artworks and of course a few works featuring Walker’s iconic Vandal character. Curated by the Quin’s DK Johnston, a diverse selection of mediums such as canvas, paper and editions were all on display to round out a strong showcase for fans to enjoy. The exhibition will be on view at the Quin until February 18th.
