Saturday night (November 12th) in Culver City, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) will be opening a new solo show at Thinkspace Gallery entitled Interlude. The new paintings feature a bolder yet still muted palette along with a more erotically-charged narrative for her beautifully rendered female characters. An expert at coaxing her ethereal muses out from the wood grain with her oil paints, the locally-based artist has assembled a stunning collection of vulnerable yet provocative female subjects for her fans in Los Angeles.
