On March 4th, Thinkspace Gallery will be hosting a solo show from Atsuko Goto in their project room. Entitled The Silence of Idols, the works from the Japanese artist features faces cloaked in flora & fauna and inspired by the Shinto belief that “nature is animated by divinity and sacred spirits harbored in every living and inanimate thing.” The haunting images are creating with a unique selection of diluted pigments made from lapis lazuli, ink, and gum arabic applied to cotton.
