On May 25th, the Seoul branch of Galerie Perrotin will be opening a new solo show from Daniel Arsham entitled Crystal Toys. Continuing his unique practice of creating “future relics”, the American artist looks to be taking his work in a more whimsical direction for this exhibition, focusing his technique on childhood toys. Using different materials like ash, amethyst, selenite, and quartz, Arsham has as usual created sculptures of how he envisions modern day objects would look like if they were discovered many many years from now.
