Coming up on September 21st, Jose Parla will be opening a solo show in Milan at Brand New Gallery that reflects on memories from his travels in Italy. Entitled Mirrors, the new work incorporates parts of posters ripped from off the walls of Milan, Rome, Napoli, Matera, Bari, Lecce and Bologna. This collage technique will add further depth and texture to the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature urban calligraphy, as well as re-contextualizes the found materials.
