Last week, Lazinc in London opened a show featuring some of Banksy’s most iconic works (gleaned from private collections), focusing in on the 2002-2008 period of his career. Coinciding with some of the time Steve Lazarides spent as the elusive street artist’s photographer and gallerist, the work curated for the exhibition include stenciled canvases, unique paintings, sculptural pieces, limited-edition prints and more. Although not officially sanctioned by Banksy, the 40 or so pieces (supposedly not for sale) assembled along with Lazarides’ (who hasn’t spoken to the artist since their split in 2008) unique perspective makes this exhibition hard to pass up for fans of the infamous artist in the UK.
