Recently, Aakash Nihalani headed over to East Hampton, New York take part in the residency awarded by Lisa de Kooning at the Willem de Kooning studio. As one of three artists in residence for the Summer, Nihalani created several works in the studio as well as a number of site-specific installations on the grounds of the estate featuring his distinctive geometric works that stems from his roots as a street artist using tape as his medium.
