As we shared with you last month, today was the unveiling of KAWS’ 16-feet-tall COMPANION (PASSING THROUGH) sculpture at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Fans were on hand to witness the shy character in its new location (also see Hong Kong, Conneticut, New York, Atlanta, and Fort Worth) as well as to chat and get items signed by the New York-based artist. This event was only a teaser for the main event coming up in October when a larger Sculpture Plinth Exhibition is planned for the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA).
