It’s been a while since we have seen a large body of work come together for Phil Frost (see LA 2010). On July 20th, fans of the New York-based artist will be able to take in a new solo show at the official opening of The Solace of the Sword at Ace Gallery in Los Angeles. Installed throughout the spacious gallery will be Frost’s found object and canvas pieces covered in his multi-layered typography, visual symbology, and bold graphics.
