It’s been a while since we caught up (her pop-up project at the New Museum) with New York artist Julia Chiang. So in anticipation of her exhibition opening soon at Kansas City’s Bill Brady Gallery, AM stopped by her Brooklyn studios to check out the new body of work set to be unveiled this Saturday, October 26th from 6-8pm. As you can see from our preview below, Julia has been working hard painting and composing her eye catching “burst” paintings.
