As part of the POW! WOW! event this year, things will kick off with a group show curated by the Thinkspace Gallery this Saturday, February 8th, at the Honolulu Museum Of Art School (111 Victoria Street). Entitled Exploring The New Contemporary Movement, the exhibition includes artists Adam Caldwell, Alexis Diaz (aka La Pandilla), Andrew Hem, Andrew Schoultz, Angry Woebots. BASK, Becca, Bezt (Etam Cru), Brendan Monroe, Brian Mashburn, Buff Monster, Bumblebee, C215, Carl Cashman, Cryptik, Curiot, Dabs Myla, David Cooley, Ekundayo, Esao Andrews, Fernando Chamarelli, Gaia, Ghostpatrol, James Marshall (aka Dalek), Joram Roukes, Kamea Hadar, Kevin Peterson, Know Hope, Low Bros, Mark Dean Veca, Meggs, Mimi S., Nosego, Pam Glew, Pixel Pancho, Randy Hage, Reka, Sainer (Etam Cru), Seth Armstrong, Seth Globepainter, Shark Toof, Soey Milk, Spencer Keeton Cunningham, Stephanie Buer, Stinkfish, Tatiana Suarez, Word To Mother, and Yoskay Yamamoto. Each artist was asked to contribute a 2 foot by 2 foot piece with further examples seen below…
