Last weekend, Thinkspace Gallery hosted the opening for Erica Rose Levine’s show Empress in their project room (the same night as Jacub Gagnon & Brian Mashburn). Using primarily colored pencils, markers, and graphite, the Brooklyn-based artist created portraits of women and their “use of decoration and beauty as power.” The details she is able to achieve is impressive and we suggest you stop by to see the work in person if you are in the area before July 12th.
