One of the major exhibitions of 2015 will be opening next month at the LA Municipal Art Gallery featuring the work of Robert Williams. Debuting a new body of work in Los Angeles for the first time in ages, the man many consider the godfather of the low brow and pop surrealist art movements will be presenting paintings, drawings, and sculptures collectively entitled Slang Aesthetics! The show will be presented and curated by Thinkspace and Copro Gallery alongside 20 Years Under The Influence of Juxtapoz, a magazine Williams founded 90s. For art fans in in the area, this is definitely one of the can’t miss events of the year (opening February 21st).
