While attending this year’s Baby Tattooville, we heard the exciting news from Mark Ryden himself of his imminent return to the New York art scene with a new solo. Dodecahedron is scheduled to open on December 10th at Paul Kasmin Gallery (293 Tenth Avenue location), the site of the Los Angeles-based artist’s showing in NYC in 2010 (covered). The title of the exhibition, teaser images seen in this article, and a previous sculptural edition from Ryden can gives us perhaps some clues into what we will see in the new body of work.
