You may remember an article in June where we let you know about a cool little project Camille Rose Garcia and Kirsten from Roq La Rue were working on. Seen above is the “Lil Elorphant” print (still available here), made from a painting CRG did specifically to benefit The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust – a charity established in memory of David Sheldrick, famous naturalist and founder Warden of Kenya’s giant Tsavo East National Park in which he served from 1948 until 1976.
Kirsten has graciously sent us one of these prints (valued at $400) to giveaway in a contest. Although free to one lucky reader, we would of course encourage everyone who participates or is interested in this worthy cause (part of which is to save the lives of orphaned Elephants and Rhinos) to consider donating to the Trust.
