Jeff Koons Installation @ Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital09

Jeff Koons and RxArt has teamed up to make the hospital a less intimidating space for young patients, hopefully helping to soothe fears and brighten moods. The world-renowned pop artist has transformed the usually sterile CT scan room with his familiar icons – including the Balloon Dog, Hanging Heart, and Monkeys. Known for being one of the most well-paid artists today, Koons generously provided the work with no artist fee. In addition, Kiehl’s also provided support for the project. Kudos to RxArt, Kiehl’s and Jeff Koons for their amazing efforts.
