Showing: ROA – “Fragments” @ The Scarlett Gallery

As you saw from our preview and look at his street work in Stockholm, ROA was recently hosted by the Scarlett Gallery in Sweden in a two-part event. First up is Fragments, where the Belgium-based street muralist put on a showing where the inside space was converted into a makeshift laboratory and workshop where his imagery was painted on bottles, tool boxes, pinned onto a bulletin, and on found objects. Preview: “Femme Fatale” @ Cella Gallery

On February 25th, Cella Gallery will present a group exhibition curated by Nicole Bruckman & Stephanie Chefas entitled Femme Fatale. Streets: DAL – “The Williams Brothers” (Cape Town)

The South Africa-based DAL recently sent us some photos of his latest mural enititled The Williams Brothers. As you can see, some of his signature lifeforms comprised of abstract weaves of energy are bounding across the side of a building. Streets: ROA (Stockholm)

In contrast to the tropical weather AM is experiencing here in Hawaii for POW WOW, it looks like Stockholm is still experiencing a cold front. As you must know by now after reading our preview article, ROA was in Sweden for a solo show recently (more on this later).
