Bit of a slow weekend as we ramp up for the HUGE amount of shows on tap for this coming June. By far the biggest event this weekend goes down in Paris, France – the return of the legendary NYC graffiti writer SEEN at Galerie Magda Danysz. His distinctive and grotesque work reflects on the struggles and adversities of life as well as the joys and lessons that can come from fighting through the difficult times. You may remember Hajime Sorayama from his collaboration with Kaws on the “No Future Companion” figure that we covered last year. A famous artist in his own right, the Japanese paintor, who is know for for his sexy robot and pinup art, opened a show recently at the Shirokane Art Complex.
