Showing: ROA – “Paper Trails” @ White Walls (Project Space)

Showing through this Saturday (January 4th) at the White Walls project space in San Francisco is a solo from ROA. Presented in a format seen previously from the Belgium-based street artist, the work was interposed throughout the gallery set up like the workspace of a field biologist full of drawings, tools, and evidence of field research. Of course, the imagery presented featured his signature dissections, anatomical details, and interactive qualities. Discuss ROA here.

Streets: SpY – “Cameras” (Madrid)

Installed with the “intention of not watching over anything,” SpY’s new intervention in Madrid features 150 fake surveillance cameras on the side of a building. The Spanish street artist is known for his appropriation of urban elements to make his message known and this newest Cameras piece is no exception. Showing: Swoon – “Motherlands” @ Galerie LJ, Paris

Lj Galerie in Paris is currently hosting a solo show by American street art stalwart, Swoon, until the 15th of January. Motherlands is Swoon’s third solo show in the French capital and it opened on the 30th of November. Streets: Augustine Kofie (Mexico)

All City Canvas recently invited Augustine Kofie (featured) to Mexico City to paint a massive mural in the middle of Colonia Roma (Roma neighborhood) in the Cuauhtémoc borough. Working day and night, the Los Angeles-based artist created a site-specific piece with his urban abstract aesthetic in this collaboarative project with Herman Miller and Impact Hub D.F.
