Last Saturday, Shooting Gallery opened the doors to Parisian street stencil artist, C215’s latest solo show, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes (previewed). The show is inspired by cigarette iconography and advertisements that lie and typically depict affluent people enjoying a smoke in order to sell their products to the common folk and working class. Shepard Fairey Cover: Time Person of the Year – The Protester

Shepard Fairey (featured) has designed the latest cover of TIME magazine for their Person of the Year issue which this year honors the “Protester”. Interviews: MODE 2 – “Offerings” @ Lucas Carrieri Gallery

Earlier this fall, artist MODE 2 debuted a solid body of work entitled Offerings in Berlin’s Lucas Carrieri Gallery. The hardworking Parisian street artist is known for his distinctive and provocative style, and was able to take some time to share his thoughts with AM with in a candid and detailed interview conducted by Zaza Weissgerber. Streets: Ericailcane (Italy)

Fans of Ericailcane in his home country have again been blessed by another storybook mural – this time in Ravenna, Italy. The gifted street artist, known for his narrative and illustrative style, has painted this tale of seafaring mice in various stages of fright and distress who have run afoul with what looks to be a sea monster. KRINK @ Loft in Space

A few days ago, artist David Flores and photographer Phil Stern unveiled their joint exhibition at the Phil Stern Gallery showcasing an incredible collection of timeless images blending Stern’s photography and Flores’ unique design. Openings: “Attack of the Space Waffles” @ Outsiders

Space Invader is back to London for a solo show at the Outsiders and what a better way to celebrate December with an Attack of Space Waffles? Showcasing a series of brand new mosaic alias’ and some other goodies like stickers and limited editions. The basement features an ‘Invaded Disco Ball’, and a 20 minute documentary following Invader throughout his street missions, and also a ‘Space Waffle Machine‘ dispensing hot waffles throughout the exhibition to the delight of the gallery’s Christmas visitors. ‘Tis the season to be invaded… More pics after the jump…

No stranger to controversy, it looks like Blu has surfaced again with another incendiary piece, this time in Buenos Aires.
