Tomorrow morning (November 21st) at 8am PST, Porterhouse will be releasing two editions from Mark Ryden (interviewed) featuring the image from his Queen Bee painting. The first one (seen above) is a replica of the announcement for his upcoming Cámara de las Maravillas exhibition at the Contemporary Art Center of Málaga in Spain. Featuring a laser-cut frame adorned with gold highlights, the edition is sized at 11″ x 7-1/4″, produced in a run of 200, and will cost $100. Tomorrow (November 14th) at 10am PST, Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be releasing a new print through Modern Eden entitled Phantom. The image is taken from a painting Keyes contributed to a current group show at the gallery in San Francisco and features a surreal scene with a shark swimming through a flooded forest, a reference to the dangers of global warming that is often seen in his work. World renowned artist, photographer and skateboarder (or the other way around), Ed Templeton, recently released a new book of photographs with Nazraeli Press. Memories of the Salt… takes us along on a 5-day family roadtrip from Pismo Beach to San Francisco via Santa Cruz, through black-and-white and color photographs. Nike recently released their collaboration with Romon Kimin Yang (Rostarr) featuring his calligraphy-inspired imagery on a selection of running footwear and apparel. One of Australian artist and graphic designer Mark Drew’s most popular series of works are his genius mashups of the Peanuts comics and 90s rap. These paintings collectively entitled Deez Nuts were originally covered by us in 2013 when he had a showing at his China Heights Gallery in Sydney.
