Releases: KAWS – “COMPANION: Passing Through” (Black Version)

It’s been a while since we first announced the release of KAWS’ COMPANION: PASSING THROUGH figure. For those who were lucky enough to add the first two colorways and want to complete the trifecta or for those who want one last chance to add the sculpt to your collection, tomorrow at 12 noon (Eastern Time), he will be selling the last black version on his webstore. Releases: Josh Keyes x Tiny Showcase – “Dawn II”

Continuing his collaboration with Tiny Showcase, Josh Keyes (interviewed) has chosen another image for his current print release – Dawn II. On sale through Tuesday, May 7th, the open timed release edition is available as a framed or unframed version. Releases: Yoskay Yamamoto – “my little universe” Sets

Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed), whom we last hung out with in Hawaii as he painted a mural for POW WOW, recently released a sets of matching sculptures and paintings. Each is entitled a numbered my little universe with the the paintings measuring 6″ x 6″ and the sculptures each two inches in diameter. This past winter, Tauba Auerbach returned to her hometown of San Francisco and visited the studios of master printers Paulson Bott Press to create an exceptional fine art edition. Releases: Jeremy Geddes – “Falling Echo” Print

On Sunday (April 21st), at 3pm Pacific Time, Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be releasing a new print based on his painting Falling Echo (detail shot above). If you remember, this was first introduced in his solo show in NY last year and features one of his iconic suspended astronauts. Films: “OBEY THE GIANT” – The Story of Shepard Fairey

Last year, we shared a project with you that was asking for funding on kickstarter – the first narrative film based on the story of Shepard Fairey. As some of you may know (or even supported), the money raiser was fully funded – and now, the finished movie has been released online on the official website. Tomorrow (April 5th) at 12 noon PST, Camille Rose Garcia (interviewed) will be releasing a new print entitled Sneewittchen. As the second in her series of mini-prints, this 10″ x 10″ edition limited to 50 is meant for collectors with a modest budget ($100). Releases: ROA – “SK8room Skatedecks”

Belgium-based ROA, who recently had a solo showing in his home country (covered), has also been working on a project with SK8room. The set of three decks (Decay 1, 2, & 3) featuring the street artist’s anatomical style are the result of a trip to Cambodia, to meet the guys from Skateistan (20% of sales go to them) in Phnom Penh, a not-for-profit organization that teaches empowerment through skateboarding to children in impoverished countries.
