It seems that Nick Walker (interviewed) has an affinity for New York. Following his recent visits to Williamsburg and the Meat Packing district last year, he is set to return later this month for the launch of his new screenprint TMA (The Morning After) New York. Our friends at VNA magazine have been dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s on their latest issue set to launch next week. We caught a glimpse of the Hell’s Half Acre (covered) catalogue a while back on Conor Harrington (interviewed) blog, but the official release had not happened yet at that time. AM got all enthused late last year over Kid Acne’s solo show (covered) at Concrete Hermit entitled When the Smoke Clears. For us, the defining part of the installation was the wall of small one-off screenprinted drawings in all their black and pink splendour. Our friend Roger Gastman has been a busy boy. First he was the consulting producer for Exit Through the Gift Shop, then he curated the Sanrio anniversary art show, and later in 2011, he’ll be helping the MOCA to curate their Art in the Streets exhibition.
