Mear One has just completed a new silk screen with Modern Multiples, to be released this Friday. It will be a hand separated, nine-color serigraph in an edition of 100, available at 1 pm PST through the Baurmann Gallery, who published the print. Remember the limited edition boxsets we told you about that will be released at the upcoming “Revolutions” show by Shepard Fairey (featured)? Now we have some photos for you of how the album cover print set is coming together. It sounds like there will be two different limited edition sets with each containing 36 signed and numbered screen prints, a sticker sheet, and a stencil in a gold leaf embossed box. On Saturday, Nick Walker (interviewed) capped off his NY tour with a special print release of his The Morning After: New York print. The long awaited silkscreen was two years in the making as Nick officially created this image two years ago on the side of the Cooper Hotel. All Tomorrow’s Parties USA has just unveiled Shepard Fairey as the special artist for this year’s festival. For the event, Fairey has designed the above poster featuring the Asbury Park Convention Center and Paramount Theater where the three-day music extravaganza will be held. The print will only be available on-site during the fest, which runs from Friday September 30th to Sunday October 2nd. Releases: Tomokazu Matsuyama x Paper Monster – “Running Even Deep”

Our friends at Paper Monster have been working long and hard on a very special print by Tomokazu “Matsu” Matsuyama (interviewed). Entitled Running Even Deep, the print involved a 23-layer screenprinting process using oil based inks, as well as giclee, on thick deckled-edged paper. In addition, every one of the very limited edition of 50 has been uniquely spray-painted by Matsu himself. Street art icon and Fullbright Scholar, Steve “ESPO” Powers, who made waves last year with his A Love Letter For You urban revitalization and documentary film project (see trailer here), has released a new print with with Exhibition A today.
