On July 7th, artist and illustrator Von (interviewed) will be opening a new solo show entitled Echoes at StolenSpace in London. The new body of work in graphite is a continuation of his Elsewhere series – capturing this fleeting moments of personal reflection that is becoming rare in our digital world. Openings: KAWS – “BFF” @ Central Embassy (Bangkok)

A couple of days ago, Central Embassy in Bangkok unveiled the latest large-scale sculpture from KAWS, standing 8 meters tall outside their complex. Produced with the help of curator AllRightsReserved, the event also featured a plush version of the figure, which looked to be a cross between Elmo & The Cookie Monster, remixed the the Brooklyn-based artist’s double-x eyes and skull & cross bones. Along with this, to the delight of his fans, there was also an exhibition of limited edition prints as well other associated products for sale.
