Last night was the preview opening of Charming Baker’s latest pop-up show “The Meaning of Everything” in London (previewed). The building was filled with excitement as Charming exhibited his latest body of work which showcases his mastery of abstract environments, loose strokes and detailed backgrounds with creative textures. We are excited to see Charming continue to take his talents and progress to another level. Remember this show doesn’t last long, so be sure to stop by before June 14th! It’s good to see our friend Charming Baker, whom we met last year at an LA group show, back in the spotlight. Auctions: Dreweatts “Urban Contemporary Art” Sale (October)

Last night in London, Dreweatts kicked off an important week of auctions at the major houses with decidedly weak results. At a mere shadow of the £300,800 – 429,400 estimate, their October Urban Contemporary Art Sale realized a total of £166,320 ($258,646) non-inclusive of Buyer’s Premiums, barely half the low end estimate.
