Streets: Faile – Second Spinning Prayer Wheel Installation

Unperturbed by the theft of the first spinning prayer wheel (close-up feature) they placed in Williamsburg last month, Brooklyn based collective Faile have again installed another one of their beautiful, hand-carved prayer wheels in New York.  With these prayer wheels selling for upwards of $20k at Faile’s “Lost in Glimmering Shadows” (covered) show last year, this awesome street piece probably won’t last for long. Check out the video of the prayer wheel “spinning” as well detailed photos of the piece after the jump.

It’s not often you get so many artists in the same place, and even more rare to see them all go so large. Photo credit: Rodrigo Medina except instagram photos (as labelled).
