Releases: Josh Keyes x Tiny Showcase – “Sleeping Woods” Print

Earlier today, Josh Keyes (interviewed) released a new print through Tiny Showcase continuing their long collaborative history together (2014, 2013, 2012, 2010). Entitled Sleeping Woods, the new edition has an image area of 14″ x 8.4″ and total size of 15″ x 9.5″ including the border. The run size will be determined by orders through Thursday, August 28 at 12pm Eastern Time with $15 of each $50 sale going to benefit Creative Growth. Streets: Titi Freak (Sao Paulo)

After sharing with you a new mural that Titi Freak painted in Rio de Janeiro for Seido Restaurant a couple of months ago, we now have for you some of his public art for you. Featuring something that appears frequently in his work, Koi fish, the Brazilian artist once again draws from his his Japanese heritage to gift this street in Sao Paulo with his imagery. On August 23rd, Dale vN Marshall opened Beauty in the Wound (previewed), his second solo show with Soze Gallery. Following his three month museum exhibition, Walls with Wounds, this elaborate show brings the more abstract and heavily textured works that Welsh artist has been developing lately. The Regional Museum of Contemporary Art in Sérignan, France is currently showing the nostalgic abstractions of Rosson Crow (featured). Featuring 25 large-scale paintings (old and new) from the American artist, the comprehensive exhibition, her largest ever, gives attendees a good look at the psychedelic modern take on decadent interiors from the past that have become her signature imagery. Releases: KAWS x Pharrell – G I R L Fragrance

With the opening of his Los Angeles exhibition scheduled in less than three weeks, KAWS will give the public another high profile look at his imagery with the launch of Pharrell’s fragrance “G I R L” this week. Released by Commes des Garçons online at Dover Street Market on August 28th and in-store in London on September 1st, the signature scent features a design by KAWS and will continue the long standing friendship (collector, curator) between the singer-songwriter and New York-based artist. Tomorrow, August 26th, at 12pm PST, 827 Ink will be releasing a new print from Sylvia Ji (interviewed).
