Teaser / Video: D*Face & Mear One – “Temporary Metropolis” @ L.A. Mart

It sounds like D*Face (interviewed) and Mear One are planning a huge show in Los Angeles for May of next year. They will be taking over the 25,000 sq. ft. 2nd floor of L.A. Mart in downtown with their paintings and installations entitled Temporary Metropolis. From January 12th-16th, Elms Lester will be showing Adam Neate’s (interviewed) work at the first ever Art Stage Singapore. Our friend Roger Gastman has been a busy boy. Odili Donald Odita – “Body and Space” @ Jack Shainman Gallery

AM recently dropped by Jack Shainman Gallery in Chelsea to check out Odili Donald Odita’s latest exhibition Body and Space. The artist of Nigerian descent gave us a lesson in color and geometric layouts while utilizing a diverse and bold color palette. Odili engaged viewers with the question of “what color means to them” and had us going from the moment we set foot in the gallery space. Check it all out after the jump.

It seems like Arkitip has been involved in some pretty cool projects recently including the Andrew Schoultz show at their space in LA and the recent Jose Parla x Incase releases.
