Galerie Wolfsen in Denmark recently introduced a new body of work by Hendrik Beikirch, presented next to black and white still lifes and vanitas-like compositions by Hedley Roberts. Invited in by Galleri KIRK for their Out in the Open project, Wes21 x ONUR painted a massive mural in Aalborg, Denmark entitled Big Catch. The two Swiss artists have been collaborating on murals for a while now and this surreal piece that turns the prey and predator narrative around certainly shows how well their skills mesh together. On April 11th, Galerie Wolfsen in Aalborg will be opening a solo show from Dan Quintana entitled Spectres in Grey. Judging from the few preview images show here, fans in Denmark will be in for a treat as the Los Angeles-based artist has created some beautifully rendered portraits steeped in the surreal.
