Last week, AM visited Basel Week Switzerland, with the highlight being the main fair – Art Basel. After sharing photos from the SCOPE and VOLTA fairs we visited during Basel Week Switzerland, we now turn our attention to the main fair. After bringing you a look at SCOPE Basel, we now turn our attention to the VOLTA. Moving back to the center of the city at the venue Markthalle, their 11th year at Basel Week Switzerland sees the art fair continuing to focus on mainly solo exhibitions from artists at their gallery booths like Mark Stone for The Hole Gallery (seen above). Celebrating nine years in Basel, the fair returns to its pioneering location at Basel’s New Art District on the Rhine.
