Not sure when or where this went up, but it looks to be a pretty sick “tag-athon” of this particular wall. As you can see, it seems both SF legends Twist (Barry McGee) & Amaze were involved in this piece as reported by Upper Playground. This past Saturday marked the opening of Barry McGee and Clare Rojas’ exhibition “Leave It Alone” & “Together At Last” (respectively) at the Bolinas Museum. The quaint community in northern California landed a double-stack of works featuring both iconic artists. Last weekend, the Hammer Museum at UCLA opened up a show entitled “Outside the Box” focusing on limited edition prints. The exhibition displays the recently acquired Edition Jacob Samuel archive of prints put out by the publisher which includes work by notables like Ed Ruscha, Anish Kapoor, Chirstopher Wool, Marina ABramovic, John Baldessari, and Barry McGee among many others. Barry McGee under one of his numerous pseudonyms, Lydia Fong, opened up a joint show with Danish artist HuskMitNavn yesterday at the Alice Gallery in Brussels. The famed street artist from SF delivered the goods with his signature geometric panels, photos, installation pieces on the walls, and this nifty cluster (seen above). More images after the jump…
