Openings: “Made In Polaroid” @ Phillips de Pury

AM recently attended the star studded charity art show Made In Polaroid held at Phillips de Pury. The benefit was a one night auction that featured 50 works created by the 50-50-50 project using Polaroid’s mobile printer. All proceeds went to support Free Arts NYC. Benefit / Preview: MTV RE:DEFINE @ Goss-Michael Foundation (Dallas)

The MTV Staying Alive Foundation will be holding a benefit art auction and exhibition entitled RE:DEFINE to mark the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the AIDS virus. Openings: MS Fundraiser for Tim Strazza @ Joshua Liner Gallery

We all hit bumps in the road, but with a little help we can all overcome any obstacles. As mentioned previously, a good friend of AM and assistant director of Joshua Liner Gallery, Tim Strazza, was unfortunately diagnosed with a Multiple Sclerosis. We helped sponsor a fundraiser created by the gallery to generate funds that went to support Tim and his medical bills. Openings / Benefits: “Sea No Evil 2011” @ Riverside Municipal Auditorium

Last night in Riverside, the Socal art scene made a rare migration into the IE for the annual Sea No Evil show and benefit. Proceeds of the auction go to Captain Paul Watson and his Sea Shepard Conservation Society, of Whale Wars fame, with many of the artists we follow participating including Jeff Soto with this year’s featured image seen above.
