With the end of another week of summer (good weather for outdoor mural painting), it’s time for another Streets World Roundup. Leading things off are these two murals seen above from Shok-1 and Marina Zumi for the Lollapalooza Berlin Festival. After short speeches by festival organizers and benefactors, as well as the town’s mayor, the 2015 NuArt exhibition officially opened Saturday night at Tou Scene in Stavanger, Norway. With this latest edition of our Streets: World Roundup article, we turn our eyes to Las Vegas for our featured mural from ROA. The Belgium-based artist withstood the desert heat for four days of hard work before completing this piece with the image of a horny toad, a local species that can squirt blood out of its eyes to deter predators. With the return of our Streets: World Roundup feature, we first want to bring your attention to a new mural from Blu in Sardinia, Italy. The wall he painted once again showed his skills with large-scale imagery while working around architectural features of his surface. It’s time for another roundup of street art around the world that we didn’t have a chance to cover in-depth. First up is a mural from Case in Erfurt, Germany for the OQ Paint project.
