Previews: Chris Mars, Naoto Hattori & Matt Dangler – “3” @ beinArt Gallery

After a successful inaugural exhibition (covered), beinArt will be presenting a joint show starting April 30th featuring Chris Mars, Naoto Hattori, and Matt Dangler (interviewed). Entitled 3, the exhibition will include the dark narratives of Mars with work influenced by his experiences with his brother’s mental illness, Hattori’s psychedelic creations, and Dangler’s surreal creatures. Last weekend in Los Angeles, alongside Robert Williams’ amazing new exhibition (covered), a group show celebrating 20 years of Juxtapoz also opened to the public. Preview: “Genesis to Revelation” @ Copro Gallery

Tonight, besides Ewelina and Genevive Zacconi’s joint show (previewed), the Copro Gallery will also be hosting a group exhibition entitled Genesis to Revelation. Opening tonight at Clifton’s Brookdale in LA will be a tribute show for David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. Earlier this month, Last Rites Gallery in New York hosted “Lead Poisoning”, a group show that included a surprisingly strong list of participants.
