Conor Harrington’s (interviewed) run in New York City included not only outdoor works (here & here), but also culminated in a riveting exhibition in SOHO. Entitled Eat and Delete, this show continued the previous themes from the Irish artist’s 2012 solo Dead Meat (covered). In between setting up for his popup show in New York (more on this later), Conor Harrington (interviewed) took advantage of the hospitality from the L.I.S.A. Project to leave a mark on the streets of the Big Apple (Broome & Lafayette Street). After sharing the first mural with you here, we now have shots of the second piece he was able to work on. While in town for his popup show in New York (more on this later), Conor Harrington (interviewed) made sure to leave his mark on the streets for his fans. One of the murals he worked on was for the L.I.S.A. Project on Rivington and Suffolk and featured one of his colonial style characters painted in his combined loose and photorealistic style. After an in studio look and associated print release, we now have more glimpses of the new imagery Conor Harrington (interviewed) has been working on for his upcoming New York solo. The peek comes courtesy of a new trailer for a documentary put together by long time collaborator Andrew Telling which recreates the narrative running through Eat And Delete as it gives a behind the scenes look at the elaborate photoshoots the UK-based artist uses for his reference. Releases: Conor Harrington – “Unveiling” Print

Tomorrow, September 17th, at 16:00 BST, Conor Harrington (interviewed) will be releasing a new print through The Outsiders. Entitled Unveiling, the new image is taken from a new painting for his popup show opening on September 27th in New York at a still undisclosed location. Priced at £250.00, the new limited edition will have a run of 200 and be sized at 77.4 cm x 100 cm. Head over here are the appropriate time if you are interested in adding it to your collection. It looks like the Lazarides Gallery recently stopped by Conor Harrington’s (interviewed) studio to check in on the UK-based painter. What they saw was some amazing new works in progress for his upcoming debut show in New York later this year, presumably a pop up put on by the London-based gallery. Entitled Eat and Delete, the exhibition will include 10-12 large canvases that continues where the Irish artist’s Dead Meat show in London (covered) left off.
