The Montresso Foundation in Marrakesh, Morocco is currently wrapping up their latest group exhibition which was on view from April 16th to May 31st. Following up their XXL # 1 show in December 2017, XXL # 2 once again consisted of groundbreaking works by four emblematic artists representing the global urban culture. Starting March 19th, to coincide with Art Basel Hong Kong, the HOCA Foundation will be presenting a new solo from Tomokazu Matsuyama (interviewed) featuring “mythological guardians, fictional tableaux and ornate abstraction.” Entitled Oh Magic Night, the exhibition at Shop B104 – 305, The Pulse (No. 28 Beach Road, Repulse Bay) will see the Brooklyn-based artist return to the city-state after an impressive installation at Harbour City Hong Kong in 2014 (covered).
