It now sounds like the black version (see gray version) of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 collaboration will be released on Cyber Monday. Constructed in a black suede upper, the sneakers features the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature “XX” on the heel and hang tag, a Jumpman x KAWS logo on the insole, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. On November 7th, Dan Witz will be releasing a print that celebrates his AW 2017 collaboration with Dior Homme. The imagery for the edition is taken from his signature “mosh pit” mixed media paintings, which was also used for the the fashion house’s outerwear line for Winter 2017. Spanish artist Okuda recently collaborated with Flamingo to design a pair of sunglasses featuring his distinctive aesthetic. The shaded spectacles (available here for 95.00€) feature the prolific street artist’s signature colors & patterns on the frames. Following up on his work with Prada in 2008 and other projects through the years, James Jean (interviewed) has collaborated with the Italian fashion house on part of their 2018 resort collection. Staged for the first time at the Fondazione Prada Osservatorio in Milan, the runway show featured the illustrator and visual artist’s imagery prominently on parkas, a pantsuit, dresses as well as many of the handbags. Last week, Jeff Koons revealed his latest high profile project – a collection he designed with Louis Vuitton. Entitled Masters, the collaboration features 51 different pieces including handbags, scarves, key chains and small leather goods, including wallets and laptop sleeves. After a recent successful collaboration with KAWS, Uniqlo has teamed up with another artist and his iconic imagery for their UT line – Futura. The released images feature many of the renowned graffiti artist’s signature touches emblazoned on t-shirts like his atoms, pointmen, textured background, script.
