We’re big fans of the folk-art inspired work of Timothy Karpinski here at AM, and the mixed media artist and paper-cut technician will be showing off his skills with some new wares at a new solo show opening this evening in Seattle at Flatcolor Gallery. “This Feels Right” seems an apt title for the exhibition as Karpinski is one of the free-thinking co-owners of the Together Gallery in Portland, one of the great creative led community-vibe driven galleries out in that region. Preview: Joseph “2H” McSween & Parkskid @ Flatcolor Gallery

Flatcolor Gallery, located in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square district, kicks off with their debut show tonight from 5-9pm with new work from Joseph “2H” McSween (interviewed) and Parskid. Hot off his solo exhibition in Los Angeles, 2H wows us again with his latest body of work and his unique mixture of graffiti elements, creative lighting and of course, alluring women.
