Once considered a top satellite fair for emerging to mid-career artists, PULSE lost some of that reputation in recent years, as many of its exhibitors jumped ship to other competing fairs. Now in its third year, Frieze New York is no longer merely the new-kid-on-the-block fair trying to challenge the dominance of The Armory Show (covered 1 & 2) but instead has settled in and solidified it’s place in NYC’s art calendar.
