It appears that world traveler and street artist ABOVE (interviewed) recently made it over to Cuba to put up a stencil and installation regarding the current situation in Haiti, which is only 90 miles away from Cuba. The video shows a young boy holding a Haitian flag about to set up to help his “neighbors.” Can you do the same? Here are some of the many ways you can help.
Our friends at Brooklynite Gallery are having an auction to raise money for the Haitian Orphanage – Chances For Children. They put together some nice pieces from artists such as Guy Denning, Miss Bugs, Beejoir, C215, Eelus and K-Guy. You can check out the pieces and bid here. With 100% of the proceeds going directly to the orphanage, it’s a definite win-win for all who participate in this very charitable event. More images after the jump.

The giclée print “Haitian Girl” measures 18″ x 24″ and is limited to an edition size of 50. All proceeds are being donated to Yéle Haiti. It is available immediately here, so go donate […]

In this regard, we’ve just heard that Josh Keyes will be releasing such a fundraising print via Tiny Showcase. Totem II is a classic piece of Keyes imagery, and sure to be a crowd pleaser. The time-limited 8×10″ print will be available for one week, from Tuesday, January 26th at 7:30pm EST to Tuesday, February […]
