While in town for Basel Week Miami, one of the exhibitions we enjoyed the most was put on by the Library Street Collective near Wynwood Walls. Held at a popup location (217 NW 25th St.) in Wynwood Walls, the Library Street Collective show features a solid lineup of artists, many of which are associated with their program in Detroit. With this latest edition of our Streets: World Roundup article, we turn our eyes to Las Vegas for our featured mural from ROA. The Belgium-based artist withstood the desert heat for four days of hard work before completing this piece with the image of a horny toad, a local species that can squirt blood out of its eyes to deter predators. Berlin’s BC Gallery is opening a new season with an interesting group exhibition simply titled Abstract that opened September 26th. Featuring works by nine international artists, this show puts a focus on non-figurative artworks along with its possibilities and advantages. Experimenting with geometrical forms, materials, mediums and colors, often juxtaposing black and white, featured artists show their take on abstraction. On Friday, August 1st from 7–10pm, Kinfolk Wythe in NYC is hosting an opening reception for the Inaugural Summer Group Exhibition curated by Tim Strazza. Streets: “Elevate South Broad Mural Projects” (Atlanta)

Last week, artists Hense, Push, Tilt (above), Sever, and Born came together to paint some new walls for the Elevate South Broad Mural Project in Atlanta. Located at South Broad Street between MLK Boulevard and Mitchell Street, the new work beautifies an area that sorely needed some love.
