A couple weeks ago, Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in New York opened up a solo show from Jose Parla entitled Anonymous Vernacular. One of the things that stands out to us about the Cuban-American artist’s work are the rich textures and complex layers he creates in each of his pieces, a collage of oil paints, graffiti inspired scrawl, acrylic finishes, and torn advertisments. One year since his last show with the gallery, Pablo Delgado is back in London with Opens Tomorrow Morning currently showing at Howard Griffin Gallery. For this conceptual show, the Mexican artist created a fictional gallery within the walls of the existing space. Currently showing at Lehmann Maupin is Home Within Home, the latest exhibition by Korean artist Do Ho Suh.
