Previews: “The Visions of Graces” @ Roq La Rue

Tomorrow night (June 13th), Roq La Rue in Seattle will be opening a three person show from Kari-Lise Alexander (seen above), Syd Bee, and Laurie Lee Brom. Entitled The Visions Of Graces, the exhibition features paintings from three Northwest painters who imbue their feminine imagery with surreal and dark elements as well as an atmosphere of mystery. On June 2nd, a new show group show entitled Dreamer, Lover, Maker, Fighter opens at BeinArt Gallery. The four person exhibition includes paintings and drawings by Brian Viveros, Miles Johnston (seen above), Kari-Lise Alexander and Scott Scheidly, all who create their own form of surreal portraiture.
