Rounding out our coverage of Culver City’s ARTWALK 2009, we bring you photos from the shows on display at Blum & Poe, Bradford Stewart, Kim Light / Lightbox, Kinsey/DesForges, Koplin Del Rio, LA Contemporary and LeBasse Projects. It was awesome to be able to visit so many galleries and see such a diverse range of great art all in one visit. The only thing we’d change? Culver City should make this a monthly event rather than an annual one. Enjoy the visuals after the jump.

An enthused crowd was on hand at Kinsey/DesForges for the opening of â€œChasing Castlesâ€ (previewed), the first showing of a full-body of work in the United States by London based artists Conor Harrington and Chloe Early (interviewed). With their “Chasing Castles” dual-exhibition (previewed) opening at Kinsey/DesForges in a few hours, Conor Harrington and Chloe Early (interviewed) are taking in the Los Angeles sunshine while working on one last surprise for their fans this side of the pond. AM caught up with Harrington as he was putting up a massive mural on the second story wall outside the gallery while Early provided artistic input and support. London based artists Conor Harrington and Chloe Early have a joint exhibition opening tomorrow, Saturday April 18th, at the influential Kinsey/DesForges gallery in Culver City. Both have shown work individually in group shows in the United States before, but â€œChasing Castlesâ€ marks the first showing of a full body of work stateside for both artists.
