Showing: ‘Unintended Calculations’ @ Becker Galleries, Vancouver

Augustine Kofie, Jerry Inscoe, Remi/Rough and Scott Sueme were recently brought together for Unintended Calculations, an exhibition well curated by Indigo at Becker Galleries in Vancouver. The group of painters make for a dynamic combination, and each of the foursome presented post-graffiti inspired by abstract expressionism within their work. Last Saturday, Kofie’One / Augustine Kofie (featured) introduced his first solo show to the Bay Area with “Retrofitted and Other Forms of Vintage Futurism” at White Walls in SF. Last month, graffiti writer, illustrator, designer and fine artist Kofie’One / Augustine Kofie kindly granted AM access to his studio spaces in the Filipinotown district of Los Angeles.
