Openings: Lori Earley “Laments & Lullabies” @ Opera Gallery London

We recently showed you a couple of preview images from the wonderful Lori Earley’s debut UK solo show, “Laments and Lullabies,” and the teaser images got our expectations rising high to see Lori’s work first hand. AM went along to the private view reception at the Opera Gallery to take a look for ourselves – check out our pictures after the jump.

Teaser: Lori Earley – “Laments and Lullabies” @ Opera Gallery (London)

Looks like Lori Earley is gearing up for a show in London at the Opera Gallery.  Two years in the making, the show entitled “Laments and Lullabies,” will opening on October 16th. The show will feature brand new paintings and Lori’s largest, most detailed painting to date, titled “The Pinnacle”, which took her 4 months to complete.  Take a closer look at “Ms. V,” the painting seen above, after the jump…

Sad Trend – Stolen Art

Art heists are not new… The ones that get the most attention are the ones where millions of dollars worth of art is lost.
