Preview: Edwin Ushiro – “Preceding Sunday” @ Roq La Rue

You may remember us showing you a piece for Edwin Ushiro’s (interviewed) show, “Preceding Sunday”, at the Roq La Rue Gallery. We now have a couple more images to share with you ahead of tomorrow night’s (Sept 10) opening in Seattle. Edwin (who will be showing jointly with Yoskay Yamamoto) also has a surprise for fans attending his opening – 30 limited edition diecuts to giveaway – you just have to tell him a ghost story. Another great group show is opening this weekend at the Copro Gallery. For the sixth time, the Los Angeles space will host a show featuring artists from BLAB!, the annual anthology of comics, illustration, and graphic design from Monte Beauchamp. Releases: Audrey Kawasaki – “Migawari” Print

For those Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) fans out there, if you haven’t heard already, scheduled for later today is a rare print release from the LA-based artist. At 1:00 PM Pacific Time, “Migawari” will be available on her webstore (pre-registration required) with a framed and unframed option.
